Clare Sound is run by students for students. We exist first and foremost to support the music scene in Cambridge. We are based at Clare College but our members come from all over the collegiate University, ARU and local Cambridge residents interested in sound and light. Many of members have gone on to pursue careers in the events industry.

We're always welcoming new members who are interested in event tech. We're a tight-nit and very friendly society (not to mention probably the coolest). Almost all of us started with either basic experience of sound or no idea at all and learned on the job. Perks include: you can get paid for some non-student events, free food guaranteed, great people, access to events (including May Balls). You join the society by emailing the head tech directly (headtech@claresound.com).
